I listen to the radio, I watch the news on television and I read fifteen to twenty on-line political blogs almost daily. I guess from fifty to a hundred different view points on politics in what used to be the greatest country on earth, daily. I am saddened and shocked by the loss of pride and the careful intense determination our citizens seemed to have misplaced.

As I spend evenings and weekends with my six year old son playing Power Rangers or watching Phineas and Ferb my heart breaks realizing what I/we have allowed to happen to our beloved country. My daughter, a freshman in college, better understands the tragic loss of liberty now taking place in the land of the free and the home of the brave. She still fondly remembers a country where government didn’t mandate people buy anything; where responsible hard working Americans could spend their money how they saw fit. My son will never know freedom and liberty. It is difficult for me to judge now which of my children will suffer the greater loss.

Anger and frustration; a feeling of impotence is the dominating emotional state of being for me these days. It boggles the mind how fifty percent of the population does not see radical socialist evil for what it truly is. How can every thinking person not understand that continuing to do, over and over, what the Republicans and the Democrats in power are doing to us is a full blown unstoppable death wish? There are no answers with the status leadership of this country. Extremist form both ends of the theological spectrum provide distraction and cover for the sleight of hand truly responsible for the destruction of freedom, faith, values and family: in essence…the United States of America.

We are out of options; it is not okay to support, promote and placate Muslim extremist who want nothing less than the total destruction of free humanity. It is not okay to create a subjugated feudal class worldwide by implementing policy based on junk science and radical, pseudo-religious climate propaganda. It is not okay for a centralized federal government to have direct, total authority over our individual personal lives. It is not okay for identical, criminal, amoral groups of self possessed elitist to bicker and fight over the right to control our rights. Freedom does not come from government.

We…are in charge. Our sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers comprise the great force of might on this planet. (Still; at least for now) It is no longer about right verses left; it is a battle between good and evil. We do not need the permission to regain our freedom. Under the law…the Constitution, we are the law. It is time to wake and lead; it is time to take back what is by right and death; ours. Peacefully if we can, by force if we must; but by God, this is our country.
